New Video: Midsummer Fire Festival Gold Guide

I forgot to post an announcement last week when this video went up. Midsummer Fire is still on until July 5th, so you still have lots of time to catch up on this (minor) opportunity. Of course, you can also do some serious leveling during Midsummer event, and also do some decent gold by racing through the bonfire quests all over the place

OK: the Midsummer Fire Gold Guide video (now online in the <a href="http://www.massivewowgold.com/members/?page_id=381">Updates and Patch Notes module</a>) is possibly the least important video you will find anywhere in Massive Gold Blueprint!

That's because almost every item associated with the Midsummer event is Bind on Pickup. There are lots of great items, including an exotic pet, some clothing items, and unique event-related foods. But you can't make any gold profit from any of it.

Except... just the one thing.

Torches sell!!

Okay, there is very little to do to make money in the AH from Midsummer Fire Festival, but I did find one more.

In order to be able to purchase torches, one must complete the Torch Catching Quest which is not the easiest thing to do for some toons.  Once you have completed the quest, the event vendor will allow you to purchase more torches (primarily to complete the juggling quest for the event chain and title) with burning blossoms.

Like many other items in WOW, some players miss the fact that a vendor sells these so you can make some profit by buying a few and posting them in the AH.  Since you can buy more easily and you don't want to flood the market, buy a few, post and wait.  If they sell, great, rinse and repeat!
