Well I"m ready to go Jon.  this seems to be so much fun. I've made it to module 5 so I think i've got good starting stuff.  Talk to y'all tomorrow night to day one results:

The short -- AM: got to SW, got my herb training from cash lvling to 6
ran the scan

The long -- PM:  on for 28 minutes
juicy so guy offering 20g for guild sign and i got this woohoo; now some cash to work with
then asked mage for port to dalaran - no charge  SWEET
ran the route --- ahhh got to buy  got gyrochronaton, rec:small brilliant fish, patt white wedding, eixir of shadow power, peacebloom, earthroot, wild steel bloom, herb pouch [2] one for me 

ran the scan on my new spread sheet to keep these records.  won't record purchases yet just AH prices

Most of what Jon suggests did now up but really want to know if some of the stuff like green whelp bracer and barbaric bracers are limited  as they are not on the AH;   I"d love to know where to get these bracers
 no pattern white wedding dress either and I have one i really wanted to post it but I"m waiting.....for the three days.

So the last few minutes i'll go back to night to see if I can buy any more limited goods in SW from any of the vendors who were zero just now: florist

so that's the short and the long from me

btw   running the route is short.

WEll, i spent my last 14 minutes running through SW.
I bought 2 fish attractors, one wedding dress pattern, 1 mageroyal and 1 bruiseweed.

tomorrow i'm gonna try to learn the vent. i'd like to talk to folks.  Having this gold i'd like to hear ideas.  yeah I know we're competing but still

Dragonblight seems busy with folks but idk much bout the economy yet.

got the new cooking recipes I could and some of the things from the limited list.  saved time for tonight

Short: Well fellow gold seekers tonight's sales sucked

Long:  only one of my first posted items sold this am.  all others expired.  So I recollected them and after scanning the house posted many again. Since much went for 1s fee @48 hours i did that. IDK if that will help but it sure didn't cost more. I did undercutting.  I did follow Jon's advice on posting for profit but if there wasn't a market after this time, I prolly undercut myself by 1g from his suggestion.

AFter reading other gsr participants successes i'm bummed about my lack of success but I am continuing on.

gold seem to be starting.....copper ore had expired and now price is quits so holding on to it. too much of the items i sold now so not adding to the list  holding on. White wedding dress sold for 17g 90s  my best sale so far.

could i make 1000 or more g in a month  yeah i think so

made the route and added: blasting powers, modulators etc.  all the tubes were gone. we'll see how they sell

WAtched the latest video and  can't really find the niche here on dragonblight yet

trying to get limited from some low level alts  but need help in getting low lvl to BB...where to start toon?

The easiest way to get to booty bay is take a human from the starting area and go straight toward storm wind, don't take the road as you want the defias to kill you so you can run to booty bay in ghost form. It's a long run so settle into a comfy chair. When you get to the grave yard outside BB log out then log back in and you will be able to rez there, if you don't log out you will rez by goldshire. For the horde just take a zeppelin to STV grab the flight path in case you want to leave later then die and make the rest of the run in ghost form. Again remember to log out before you rez.

Start in Human zone, run straight down the road through Goldshire, into Westfall.  Stop in Sentinal Hill to get the FP. Stay on road (S), take right branch to Moonbrook.  About half way to Moonbrook, head S. to the mountains, keeping to the west of the little valley up to Dagger Hills.  Stay as high along edge of mountains as you can till you get to Moonbrook.  Behind the second building, there is a notch in the hills heading S.  You come out just a bit W. of the Guy selling Booze for Hops.  If you see his Quest Mark slightly to your Left, you are good.  There is a break in the mobs there, you can cross the little draw into the hills, head Up as soon as you can.   You come to the back side of Dead Mines, go left around mine, then head down into that little farm (say hello to the widow working the farm), jump into the sea and swim S. to Booty Bay.   This whole route is clear of any aggro except for a doggie or two in Elwynn Forest as you near Westfall. 

For Horde, start in the Orc/Troll starting zone, run south to the hidden path, jump into the water and swim to Ratchet, then take the boat to BB.  There is an occasional water monster to avoid, but path is pretty clean.

Contrary to the previous post, you do NOT have to die.  I use this route to get lvl 1's to BB all the time.

Used my time to the fullest. As i get more items in my buy list it takes more time to review and put into my spreadsheet.
these items sold, I'm including the price since i'm new to this server. I think I've undercut too much but some since the beginning I've been the only seller: profit after all costs mageroyal 5g 93s, recipe: barbaric bracers 3.83.00; recipe green whelp bracer 4.77.00; recipe sml briilliant fish 2.2.6[sold 2]; kingsblood 4.28.50; bed: beer basted ribs 3.47.55; rec: Kaldori spider  95.1.00; rec: greater rage pot 7.61.50;  rec: bristlewhisker cat 5.0.55; bruiseweed 2.40.00   plus a guild sign for 5 g.  at the end of the time total was 156.88.15

Now I've made atls for Iron Forge, Darnassus, Exodar, and today Stranglethorn Vale. So this is a good tale  maybe worth some style points.  Rolled  a HUman warlock  and left starting area as a 3.  Got some help in Duskwood after I met the wolves ...2 rezs.  then ran to the tip of Stranglethorn Vale where I promptly died. Not sure of the mobs.  so I courteously found an 80 warlock in booty Bay. I whispered for a summons and offered up my 13 copper.  Got an immediate "Um sure, just a sec".  It took about 4 minutes...which are long when you are waiting, to get the partners and one partner even came back on after the laptop quit.  And there I was a level 3 in Booty bay.  No cash just a thank you exchanged.

Here's what I was able to get there and send to SW: Patt: enchanter's cowl, rec: for frost prot pot; 4 mana potions, both parrots  { BTW where does the hyacinth macaw come from?}, patt: black swashbucklers shirt, recipes giant clam sorcho, mithril head trout and green fireworks.  The rest of the stuff was not there so I'll check tomorrow.  I"m going to check the AH fo the hot smoked bass and glossy mightfish recipes before I buy them.

This was soo cool to be there while all the fireworks were going off. Maybe the fish tournament or folks celebrating USA holiday  IDK.

the vent did not work, no place for the server PIN etc so maybe JOn will PM me back.  Then next to study the neutral houses to see what to buy, if anything is there from horde side to sell on alliance.

I have filled up SW bank   don't know if this is good or not...got the 5 white wedding dress patterns, they are selling slowly so i'll ge looking for cheap bags.

short: two sales  i thought slow
long:  sold bristle cat and beer basted rib recipes for 8.57.38 total which is good.  found out the good nature of other  MGB golddiggers - yeah we are- when two folks told me easier and more reliable ways to get a new toon to BB without a summons--thanks a lot I"ll use this again I"m sure.

5 lots expired but i did post some back. prices are not fluctuating enough so i'm just guessing I think. I did post the cooking recipes from BB we'll see how it goes.   sure wish I had access to the higher herbs as they are selling well, but i hope that comes with resale.

I do need to know how to auction for 30 minutes..anyone??...anyone?

Hey Sister,

A little trick for moving a low level toon down to Booty Bay that I found that is quick, when you die don't rez yourself at your body, keep running in ghost form down to the graveyard outside booty bay.    Next, before you talk to the Spirit dude to rez yourself there, log out then log back in.  Now you can talk to the Spirit dude to rez.  You are now at Booty bay  

*note if you forget to log out and back in you'll rez in the graveyard of the zone you died in.
