At long last, I'm happy to announce that the revised and updated "MGB4" version of the Daily Routine videos is now in production.

Module 9 - Workflow and Daily Routine - has been sitting empty for a long time. Far too long really. I appreciate your patience as I've wrestled with figuring out how I wanted to present this.

I finally found the way to go forward, in the process of developing the new MGB4 member site that will be going live for you when Cataclysm expansion arrives.

This means that as well as (finally) getting an updated series of Daily Routine videos and tips, you are also getting a preliminary look at some of the new MGB4 content Smiley

I'm interested in your comments, so let me know what you think. The new videos will be shorter, chunked out into smaller topics per video, with the intention that the vast pool of Blueprint method info will be easier to access, search and update.

As I write this, I've posted two of the new Daily Routine videos, and I've got two more in production (going online in the next day or so). Eventually, there will be about 6 - 8 videos in this series.

** The Cataclysm Effect... Time for Action! **

As I mentioned in the last members' update e-mail, I'm starting to focus on Cataclysm info and updates.

You will see videos on this topic later in September, but I want to give you an immediate heads-up alert right now.

The Cataclysm Bust-and-Boom effect is already starting to influence the auction house game on most servers!

It's early in the cycle right now (latest thinking is that Cataclysm will be going live sometime in November). But what I'm seeing right now is a GREAT gold-making opportunity as prices on the auction house are starting to bounce all over the place.

Some players with large stockpiles are starting to dump inventory at "bust" type prices. But many players are still in buy mode. In fact, demand for many items is actually stronger than normal, as players position themselves in new professions to get ready for Cataclysm, or try to complete achievements that may be harder (or absent) after expansion.

The net result is that you can find fire-sale bargains right now, but also strong demand for the same items at normal or higher-than-normal prices.

My own gold income has *DOUBLED* over the last two weeks as a result of this effect. New pipelines are appearing, greater sales volume, and above all more price volatility.

Make sure you take some time to look for these kinds of opportunities right now. This is an extremely favorable time for gold making!

But let me be clear: this isn't the time to stockpile ahead of the expansion... yet. Right now, you should be looking for bargains and actively selling to cash in immediately.

So get out there and make some gold Smiley

Thank you Jon!  This is exactly the type of information I was looking for and I am glad to know that for the most part i was already doing as you suggested.  I will now stop using the postal addon to quickly grab all of my auctions at one go and start evaluating failed auctions more thouroughly, what you said made perfect sense there. And I was glad to hear the refresher on using the appraiser tab, I had gotten out of the habit of using it.
