Other effects of Pandaria plans
While the initial focus here on the BLIZZCON revelations concerning the latest expansion, "Mists of Pandaria", seem to focus on pets (and the beginning of Wowpokemon), there is another aspect that may significantly affect another area where some of us focus our gold-making efforts: glyphs.
See, most of the glyphs that characters use involve modification of their class abilities, but most of them do center around talents. However, based on what I've seen so far, the talent system is basically being gutted such that characters will only have access to six talents, one every fifteenth level. So what does this mean for all the glyphs that currently exist? Does this mean that glyphs (as they are now) will be meaningless? Or will glyphs be completely reorganized? Just as significantly, what about the tens of thousands of gold that scribes have poured into building their tradeskills? Has all that gold been wasted? Will they have to start from scratch?
Until things are made clearer, I foresee the future of Inscription to be rather cloudy, and the profit-making potential to be extremely variable.

So far in the beta there are now only 2 levels of glyphs instead of 3. I suspect that where will be a lot more glyph swapping going on especially for those who pvp and pve. However I am not sure at this point if this will create any gold making opportunities.

Datamining thus far indicates that all of the current glyph numbers will be retained, but a lot of glyphs will become something completely different. So at least scribes don't need to worry about having guild banks full of grey vendor junk as soon as the patch arrives. Still no word on what will happen with Books of Glyph Mastery so far as I know.
