Cross Faction Challenge

Welcome back to the Speed Run, Dragon... and good luck!

OK, this run is especially challenging since I am only able to play 30 minutes a day max. None the less once I got my toons set up things are smoothing out.

Things of note.
The Roasted Moongrazer recipe solid for 876G on the horde side.
Bought 2 x Seven of Warlords for 13S 60 C and sold both for 76 G each (Silly seller mistake)
Copper bars selling well
Limited Supply stuff selling exceedingly well on horde side.

Gotta love that Moongraze recipe! I'm glad to see things are picking up for you... 30 min per day is tough.

Well nothing fancy just poking along to see if this could be done in a minimal amount of time.

So far:

Horde side: 3063 G with a /played time of 5 hours 34 minutes
Alliance side: 785 G with a /played time of 2 hours 26 minutes

1 horde DK runner with /played 3 hours 56 minutes
1 Alliance Booty bay posting with /played of 38 minutes

Horde: 6412 G

Alliance: 2043 G

Total: 8455 G

Ok, my run  didn't earn a tremendous amount in comparison to the other folks but trying to keep time played to under 30 minutes a day made things a bit difficult but not impossible.

Here is the end of the run totals:

Horde Side 9076G 55S 27C

Total time played during run: 20 hours 7 minutes over 29 days come to 0.68 hours per day. So I went over a couple days on weekends or I idled not realizing it.

I was very limited on time when this speed run came about so I decided that I would give it a try and see if I could make some decent gold just playing 30 minutes or less a day.

I chose to level a Dranaie Hunter high enough to get the moongrazer recipe to cross faction and I chose to level a horde DK to move around and gather things. I also created an orc banker because the goblin starting zone takes too long.

Anyways, I worked a great deal of the limited supply and vendor recipes at first using some of the gold from the DK as seed. I was also able to get the moongrazer recipe moved over to the horde side using a low level dupe from my other account.

Once everything was in place I spent 30 minutes on one faction one day and 30 minutes on the other faction the next. I always used 48 hour auctions because of this flipping. I got into cobalt/saronite ore and bars, goldclover, Mountain Silversage, Purple Lotus, converting Frozen Orbs to Eternal Fire, Volatile Fire/water. Over the duration of the speed run I sold 13 Copper Rods for 8 G 18S each.


The total time played does include the time used on the DK and the low level dude for X-faction movement. I chewed up a bunch of time leveling the DK but it was worth it.
