I am weary of setting any specific amount of gold as a goal, but I will be curious to see how long it takes me to surpass my most ever gold on hand on my main server (across all toons) - which has never surpassed 25k.

I will be most excited to learn the methods/processes to the point where I feel I know what needs to be done well enough to streamline my time and earning gold much more efficiently.

well Being New to MGB and starting the program the day before the gold speed run started. I think my goal is 10,000 gold buy the end of this run. I do have a question Can I start a guild just for the guild bank so i have more room to put my  stuff in?

Yes to the setting up a guild bank, Buddypal. Lots of speed runners do this, it certainly helps with storage issues.

Some of the people in Team Speak already know about some of my goals, but I figured that I would post them in this section too.

I love to play, but I hate always worrying about where the money will come from for new gear, mounts, pets, etc.  I have an 85 Rogue, and I don't like people picking on me because I don't have all the gear they feel I should.  I am not big on instances/raids, etc.  So, I don't get a ton of opportunities to "roll" for the special gear.  That means I have to resort to the crazy AH prices that are offered.  I was literally only being able to buy one piece every month or even every 2-3 months because of how expensive things were to upgrade.  That was just insane to me, especially since it wasn't like I wasn't earning any gold in the AH.  I just wasn't earning the kinds of levels that I could have been.

I also like to work on achievements, quest, and just generally have fun or work on alts.  I don't want to spend all of my time, like I have been, trying to sell things at the AH.  It is nerve wracking to put so many hours in to something and feel you have little to show for it.  I know I'm not the only one that feels that way.

So ultimately ... I just want to have fun.  I want to be able to have fun without worrying about grinding for cash or feeling insufficient in my gear, etc.

I've posted my Week 1 reports, and I'm pretty amazed so far ... or at least by the last few days.  LOL.  Now, I just need to start putting these principles towards my main server where I have more cash to start with.  Hopefully I can start earning there too without all of the tedium that I had been suffering from.

If I might ask, what is the gold acquired judged on? Is it the Total Gold Acquired as shown in the Wealth tab?
