Hi Jonathan and all
There has been no official release date yet for MOP, but with speculation saying it will most likely be August, I was wondering if the stock piling of mats should be considered at this time, and if so what should we be keeping and what should we get rid off.
Are there any plans to release vids or information relating to this subject.  Smiley

One item that i am definitely stockpiling is netherweave bags,  there will be a need for cheap storage options and each new toon will need a total of 11 bags for storage.

I was also looking for MOP tips. The last email I had from Jonathan was on the 15th May and that was the day before his last twitter activity. It's odd and I hope all is well. Anyone have any information?

Unforunately the answer right now is no,  but I have been using previous notes concerning older expansion mats as a template for my own.  There are a couple of the older members still checking back on the site usually on a daily basis so feel free to post a specific question that you feel is not answered.

Just remember that every server is different so what works fo me may not work for you.

Thanks for the response Wotfan2. I'll take a look at the notes about previous expansions too.

While im a ittle late to the conversation here, grabbing any "cheap" tier 7 (outland) and tier 8 (northrend) herbs would be a safe bet at this point (IMO). Mainly because scribes that did not stockpile are scrounging for mats and are having to adjust their buy prices if they want any. Also a little know fact with this 5.0.4 patch is that even though the ink trader says it takes ink of dreams (mop version of black fallow ink) it will still trade inks at a ratio of 1:1 using blackfallow ink. Having said that, if you find uber cheap cata herbs (bot farmed or unknowing player) snatch them up and get a scribe to make up as many black fallow ink as you can and make a run for the ink trader as soon as you get them to trade them in for the etheral ink or ink of seas (Or what ever the fastest moving/best selling ink on your realm is. Keep in mind though that ALOT of glyphs require those 2 inks at 3 per glyph). In no way am i saying to bot the herbs your self, to much risk and not nearly enough gain. Be sure to tip the scribe you get a decent amount, if nothing else, it may buy you some time before others catch on. Ideally, I would get 2 or 3 different scribes breaking the herbs down and making the ink (providing you have the stock to support more than one)

I am working right now on a Mists of Pandaria guide, similar to the Cataclysm guide I did for the last expansion. Stay tuned for the release to members within a few days.

Stockpiling "classic" trade mats is still a slam-dunk this time around, but I *strongly* advise you to focus on the best blue-chip ("A-list") goods almost exclusively. For example, watch closely right now for bargains on Wool Cloth, Goldthorn, Illusion Dust, Titanium Bars (Titansteel if you can find it cheap) as obvious winners.

Stand by, I'm hard at work Smiley
